Dr. Jorge Stuardo Loy, studied medicine at Mariano Gálvez University of Guatemala. He has served in private hospitals across various departments, including intensive care, outpatient services, and emergency care. At Casa Tabito, Dr. Jorge is deeply moved by the way God’s love and healing are revealed through the children. He finds joy in seeing a child smile after feeling better and considers it a privilege to witness God’s mercy touching families through compassionate care.
Outside of work, Dr. Jorge enjoys serving in his church, where he previously taught children and now helps with security. He loves listening to music and audiobooks, playing board games, and spending time with his wife and son.

Dr. Sandra Contreras began her medical studies at the Francisco Marroquín University, later she specialized in General Pediatrics at the Roosevelt Hospital. She has a postgraduate degree in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University and has completed a master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from the Ibero-American University of Mexico. Dr. Contreras has completed specialization courses in Pediatric Nutrition and Child-Youth Diet Treatment from the Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Nutritional Support in Pediatrics of INCAP (Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama). For four years, she was a professor of pediatrics at the Rafael Landívar University School of Medicine. She exercised private practice in pediatrics in Guatemala City, at the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Hospital and the La Paz Hospital. She is an active member of the Pediatric Association of Guatemala.

Ana studied Psychology at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala. She received a Certification of Caregiving in Trauma from The Organization SOMOS, Guatemala. For eight months, she worked with the Municipal Women's Office as a psychologist for the Municipality of Magdalena Milpas Altas while performing her supervised professional exercise. For 1 year, she was responsible for the Psychologist Site of the Students International Association, Guatemala.
Ana has experience in managing school workshops for Parents, Art Therapy, and individual accompaniment for children and women. As the Director of Spiritual Growth for Casa Tabito, she provides individual counseling services, group Bible Studies, and discipleship programs for all the mothers.

Mara was born in a nearby village and currently resides in El Rosario, where she and her husband are raising their five children. Mara is a strong leader in the local church. Her connection to the church and the community fosters a great relationship between our clinic and the surrounding communities. Mara organizes food distributions during the current hunger crisis and completes home visits to provide social work.

Douglas is from the neighboring village of Cero Alto and is a University Student. Douglas has years of experience as a private chauffeur in the city, as well as experience with construction. Douglas transports all the patients to any specialty appointments in the city and heads up the installation of clean-air stoves in all the babies' homes.

Madeline is the Site Director at Casa Tabito, where she directs human resources. She is key in supporting and managing local staff, overseeing daily operations, and helping create a healthy, unified work environment.
Outside of her work, Madeline loves spending time with her husband, Pablo, and their son, Judah.

Gilda was born and raised in the nearby village of El Tejar. She pursued her education at a private college and graduated from Nueva Vida Chimaltenango with a degree in Auxiliary Nursing.
In addition to her professional skills, Gilda is a proud mother of three boys. Her deep connection to the community and nurturing spirit make her an invaluable part of our team.

Odilia was born and raised in the village of El Rosario. She received a full expense, four-year scholarship from Casa Tabito, where she attended a private college. She graduated from Nueva Vida Chimaltenango with a degree in auxiliary nursing. She most recently completed a pharmacist program. Odilia is our lead nurse who oversees our medical programs in partnership with our pediatrician.

Sara Tucubal is a dedicated speech therapist from Tecpán, Guatemala. She earned her degree from La Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and brings a compassionate and personalized approach to supporting children in their communication development.

Diana Barrios completed her five-year degree at Universidad Galileo IPETH-Guatemala, where she gained extensive hands-on experience through supervised clinical practice at Stela Cripeth Clinic, Villa Nueva Municipal Clinic, Top Gym, and TAMIM in Chimaltenango. She also served her social service commitment at Village of Hope, working with patients facing various medical conditions.Diana holds several additional certifications that enhance her holistic approach to care, including: Diploma in Early Stimulation, Story-Based Massage, Rhythmic Massage and Infant Massage. Her compassionate care and dedication make her a valuable part of our team.
